RISE ZIMBABWE is a short film inspired by the life of Tobias Mupfuti. Set in Zimbabwe, this film tells the story of a young boy living on the streets who befriends a boxing coach who not only teaches the young boy how to fight, but how to dream. The creation of this film project is designed to upskill creatives and strengthen filmmaking skills in Zimbabwe, bringing Zimbabwean talent and industry to the world stage.
